Do you want to do something good for someone who has spent their entire life giving to others & asking nothing in return? Now is your chance!!!!! It does not have to be a lot, anything would be appreciated for this family. For those of you that do not know me. My name is Brittany Rumpf. My husband is James Rumpf. George & Jenn are our cousins. As many of you know George has been ill, going back and forth to TGH and Mayo Clinic. He will need to have a double lung transplant from Asbestos poisoning, / restrictive lung disease from the asbestos. He is now on an oxygen machine 24/7. George has to show that he has 25k-40k put into an account for the surgery, copays, 6 months living in Jacksonville in rehab & the hospital. Funds needed for family to miss work to be with George. As a retired Law enforcement officer with a Purple Heart George, has served his life helping others. George Agovino and his amazing family have gone above and beyond for their community. I have never met a family so selfless and more deserving. George & Jenn Agovino are founders of Fostering Change Foster Closet, a 501c3, non- profit where they have helped countless families in need of help. George Agovino has strived to make our community better for 20 years as a police officer, upon retiring he began with a small building to help families get supplies to help foster children coming into care. It has expanded to children in transit, homeless, social service, supplies to schools, paying Dr. bills, day care bills, vehicles for disabled children and over 800 families in 2024. George Agovino works 7 days 24 hours. He goes when a child needs supplies, he designed CPI bags so every investigator has bags for every age that has a blanket, bottle, pjs, diapers. So no child leaves with just a garbage bag, they have a bag from the start. The kids have dignity and a sense of worth in their trying times.
