Support George Anthony's Funeral Costs

My name is Jorge Sanchez and I'm initiating this fundraiser for the funeral and memorial services on behalf of my son George Anthony, who was run over on Interstate 5 last Saturday, November 9th, early morning and died on the scene. Your help and support are highly appreciated.

Special Remarks:

A 45-year-old man who was struck and killed at the Golden State (5) Freeway in the Arleta area of the San Fernando Valley was identified Wednesday.

The collision was reported at 1:44 a.m. Saturday. California Highway Patrol officers responded to the southbound freeway and the Osborne Street off-ramp, where they found the man lying near the slow lane of the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as George Sanchez.

The CHP briefly closed two lanes of the freeway while they investigated the cause of the collision.
