Support George's Cancer Battle & Fulfill his Bucket List

Donation protected
This is for my Dad-

After weeks and months of bouncing between hospitals rooms and ICU with no answers or guidance to what was making my dad so sick, we finally got answers- but they weren’t the ones we had hoped for.

The diagnosis is stage four cancer of the blood vessels and lungs. The prognosis is less than a year.

Finding out that your time is limited is heartbreaking. We all know our day will come eventually, but being faced with that reality changes everything about your daily life and perspective.

His whole life, my dad has valued the people in his orbit above all else. Family, friends, co-workers, it doesn’t matter. George Moniodis is a people person at his very core. And he has always gone out of his way to take care of others, even when they didn’t ask for it. Now we want to do the same for him.

If he knew we were writing this, he’d probably say, “Don’t worry about me. It’s all good.” And that’s exactly why we want to do something special for him.

My dad lost his family at a young age. Everyone handles that intense grief differently, but my dad used his experience to have a golden outlook on life. He always taught me how precious time with loved ones was.

We are devastated knowing his time will be up soon, and we just want to make the most of every day that he has. With all the hospital visits from June till now, there have been so many unexpected costs for my parents. Hospital bills, copays, prescriptions, gas and food have all added up. We are also aware of the increase in costs for his upcoming treatments and accommodations that aren’t going to be covered by his insurance. With all that in mind, the goal is just to give my parents a little financial freedom to make sure my dad gets to do anything and everything on his bucket list (health allowing).

We appreciate all of the support more than words can express. I know things are tight for so many right now, and if you can’t donate I just ask that you message my dad. Tell him a funny story or favorite memory you have with him. Bring a little light and laughter to his day. I promise, it will make a huge difference to him.

Thank you all ❤️
