Support Gerardo and the Ramirez Family

On April 23rd, my father, Gerardo Ramirez, suffered a stroke that kept him hospitalized for a couple of days. Fortunately, he was discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home, but is still suffering from minor bleeding in his brain. This has made it difficult for him to perform any tasks beyond speaking and a mild amount of movement. We are extremely thankful that he is still here and in stable condition, however the hospital bills along with my father not being able to work have left our family with a lot of financial angst. 

My Dad worked multiple jobs in order to support our family and has always placed his wife and children before anything. He has been the epitome of a hard-working individual in my eyes and I cannot thank him enough for the sacrifices he and my mother have made to allow me to live in this great country. We are not sure if or when he will be able to get back to work and are seeking some help to mitigate the financial burden we are under given the circumstances. We want to primarily focus on his recovery and allow him to take the necessary steps to getting healthier right now. 

We understand the tremendous amount of stress that some families may be under given the current pandemic and thank those that continue to work as essential workers, especially those in the hospitals. Without the strength and perseverance of the medical professionals who took care of my dad, we really don’t know what would have happened. We are extremely thankful for any donation and hope that everyones family and loved ones are safe during these difficult times. God Bless and stay safe everyone!
