Support Gerton Fire Department's Recovery Efforts

My name is Robert "Jay" Alley. I am the Chief of Gerton Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue, Inc. located in Gerton, North Carolina. We are raising funds to purchase and repair equipment. Our needs primarily include: a Polaris 4X4 to aid in getting access to people who need supplies; funds to repair offices and replace supplies damaged by mud and water; funds to repair or purchase a quick response vehicle which was overrun with mud and water; funds to repair or replace our generator which has been running non-stop since the storm came through; and funds to purchase and replace chain saws. We are still assessing damage. The need is too great to fully express in words.
