We are deeply saddened to share that Gil Gaspar—a kind, loving, and generous man—passed away on Sunday, April 27, after a courageous two-year battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of lymph cancer that he faced with remarkable grace and strength.

Gil was a devoted husband, a loving father to his two children, a caring son, and a close brother. His gentle spirit, warmth, humor, and unwavering kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him—family, friends, colleagues, and the wider community. His loss is deeply felt by all whose lives he touched.

As the Gaspar family grieves this profound loss, they are also undertaking the many preparations to honor and celebrate Gil’s life in the way he so deserves. Alongside the emotional toll, they now face significant financial challenges—including the costs of memorial arrangements and the ongoing support of Gil’s children, especially for their future education.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Gil Gaspar — un homme bienveillant, généreux, à la nature douce et rayonnante — qui nous a quittés le dimanche 27 avril 2025, après deux années de combat contre un lymphome T-cellulaire angio-immunoblastique, une forme rare et agressive de cancer de la lymphe. Il a traversé cette maladie avec beaucoup de force et de grâce.

Gil était un mari dévoué, père de deux jeunes adultes engagés dans leurs études. Il était aussi un fils attentionné et un frère proche, toujours présent pour sa famille tout au long des épreuves de la vie. Ceux qui l’ont connu garderont le souvenir d’un homme profondément attaché aux siens et à ceux qu’il aimait.

Aujourd’hui, sa famille fait face à la douleur de son absence et aux préparatifs nécessaires pour lui rendre hommage. Elle doit également assurer l’avenir de ses enfants, notamment pour leurs études.
