I am somewhat embarrassed and reluctant to ask for your financial assistance. However, with the insistence and guidance of a couple of very close friends of mine, I decided it was best to reach out to others by creating this page. My reluctance continues. However, I remain confident the biggest journeys are not made alone, but with the help of others.

Any help would alleviate some of my monthly expenses, including additional medical equipment needed to move around more independently. Furthermore, it would allow me to make my house handicap accessible.

Approximately 4 years ago my journey began.I was in a car accident that required surgery to repair a few discs in my neck. However, 2 weeks prior to my surgery, I severely shattered my ankle and leg which required extensive surgery. This was then followed by my neck surgery.

Shortly thereafter, I was Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus which has been excruciating. Since then, I have had 3 additional surgeries on my ankle and leg and can now only walk only with the assistance of a cane, walker, and, at times, a wheelchair.

Additionally, I’ve had a total of 3 neck surgeries that have left my C-Spine fused. I can no longer drive due to my limited mobility.

I have also suffered 2 minor strokes this year and now have limited use in my left arm and left leg. You can only imagine the medical bills I’ve had to pay out of pocket. This does not include my medications that I pay monthly. I am on extremely strong pain medication daily just so that my pain can be managed.
