Support Gilded Age Antiques' Recovery
Donation protected
We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people asking how they can help us during this time. Currently, we see two main options that will best support the future of Gilded Age Antiques and help keep our small family together.
Option 1: Monetary donations
Many of you are familiar with our manager, Olivia, and her two-year-old daughter, Charlie, who live adjacent to Gilded Age on the store's property. They have been displaced from their home and are seeking assistance while insurance evaluates the damage. Your donations will greatly support them and enable us to keep our staff on payroll during this challenging period, while also providing the necessary labor and supplies for restoration. If you’re in a position to donate, please direct it to life-saving initiatives first. If you have the capacity to help further, please consider supporting Gilded Age Antiques and its dedicated team.
Option 2: Supply donations
Due to the influx of insurance claims in our area, we find ourselves at the mercy of time. It’s essential for us to initiate the cleanup process as soon as possible with the local crew we can assemble. Therefore, we are in need of the following supplies to support our recovery efforts:
- Shovels
- Contractor bags
- Metal rakes
- Wheelbarrows
- Rubber gloves
- Masks
- Disposable overalls
- Paper towels
- General purpose cleaners/disinfectants
- Bleach
- Any additional items you can contribute that will support the cleanup process.
These items can be dropped off or picked up by one of our staff members. Please text Olivia Daly or send us a DM to coordinate.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unwavering support during this tough time. If you’re unable to contribute, we kindly ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Gilded Age Antiques has been a local institution for over 30 years, and will not give up now! Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days and weeks.
