Gina's Cancer Battle: Help Bring Hope and Healing
Donation protected
I am reaching out today to share news about my dear friend’s daughter, Gina Sandlin, who is currently facing unexpected challenges. On October 13, Gina received a diagnosis of stage 3 cervical cancer during her 23-day hospital stay. The prolonged stay was a result of exploratory surgeries aimed at identifying the origin of a sizable tumor near her ovaries.
Gina is not only a brilliant artist, painter, and website designer but also a devoted daughter and an incredible friend. Most importantly, she is a loving mother to her 11-year-old son, Luca Mars, who is currently living with his dad.
Amidst a challenging separation and an upcoming divorce, Gina encountered a setback when she lost medical insurance. Faced with financial constraints and limited resources, she was unable to secure insurance independently, leaving her uninsured as she confronts this daunting battle with cancer. The mounting medical bills have become an additional burden.
This devastating illness has affected every aspect of Gina's life, stealing her health, stability, energy, and spirit. It came at a vulnerable time when she was unemployed and struggling financially to support herself and meet the required monthly financial obligations for her son Luca.
On November 21, after obtaining a PET scan, Gina received the disheartening news that the cancer had metastasized to her abdomen, progressing to Stage 4.
Today, as someone who saw her grow up and become the kind and loving person she is I am asking you to help Gina fight the enemy that has taken over her body and is wanting to take her life… with faith, and God on our side I know that Gina will win the battle and become a survivor.
Your donations, no matter the amount, can provide her with some peace of mind and a touch of joy during the holiday season and the upcoming year. This support will allow her to address her financial responsibilities as she faces a challenging road to recovery.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. God bless you and your loved ones this holiday season.
