Support Ginny and Orlando's Recovery After Car Accident

Donation protected
On Sunday, September 8th, 2024, Ginny Griego and her son Orlando Villarraga suffered a major car accident when a large truck's brakes failed, resulting in a collision. The truck plummeted into a group of cars stationed at the bottom of the hill, right at the entrance of a tollbooth in the town of Santa Marta, Colombia.

Visiting Colombia for a trip with the Aniwa foundation (a group dedicated to amplifying the voices of Indigenous leaders), both mother and son suffered injuries, with Ginny bearing the worst of them: a broken wrist, fractured ribs, intestinal damage, and complications stemming from a rare blood disease, resulting in over a week stay in the ICU.

Ginny is a beloved member of the spiritual community and her family and friends are asking at this time for donations to cover her and Orlando's expenses associated with this accident: medical and legal bills, as well as the cost of moving to Colombia where Ginny is currently receiving medical care, and where she will be staying due to her inability to travel for many months while recovering.

We've appreciated the outpouring of messages and prayers for the speedy recovery of Ginny and hope that you might contribute whatever you can to help in this long recovery and healing process.
