SUPPORT GIRL WHO LOST MOTHER TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Daisha Fry was more than the fatal victim of a brutal domestic violence attack. She was a gentle, easy-to-love mother, sister, daughter, cousin, and friend who presented with a genuine heart and a spirit that bestowed ease and light. A single mother to two sons (21, 17yrs) and a 13yr old daughter now left to life’s experience without the physical presence of that maternal nurturer and source of support. The eldest of 4 children, also a caretaker to her mother through an ongoing fight with lung cancer, Daisha, too fought medical conditions herself. Due to this, there is little to nothing left after the vicious assault that stole her precious life on February 8, 2022, to meet and financially maintain the needs of her minor child/children. In consideration of this, I pray that anyone who learns of this tragedy contributes whatever they are able, more if you are moved to do so. I pray that the showing up of family, community, mothers and caretakers all over help me aid the care of Daisha’s daughter/children so that the spirit of security may eclipse that life-altering memory of her mother’s fatal assault. Their home, now a forensic crime scene they’re unable to return to and still under investigation; the family (Daisha’s mother, daughter, sister who she lived with and 2yr old nephew) is tasked with finding safe, stable shelter while processing how to cope and where to plan ceremonies. An added challenge considering this occurred states away from their hometown and their only foundation of family/support.

 

All contributions will go towards the supportive needs of Daisha’s minor children. Aiding them through healing and recovery of this tragic loss, efforts to re-establish safe and stable living conditions, travel costs to/from their hometown support system and prayerfully relief of all financial hardship or anxieties caused by this grievous trauma.
