Support Gladstones Staff After Fire Devastation

We are Gladstones of Pacific Palisades: Jim Harris - General Manager, Alex Peniston - Assistant General Manager, Juan Aquino - Executive Chef. After 50 years of sharing our beloved stretch of California coastline with locals and travelers from the world over, our beach city paradise has been utterly devastated. Gladstones is one of the few structures to remain standing in the aftermath of the Pacific Palisades fire. We were saved due to the heroic efforts of first responders, specifically Engine 238, who prevented total catastrophe.
Our employees, patrons, and concerned citizens were horrified to see the building catch fire in real time on television and then equally elated to hear that we had survived. While the building remains intact, the future of our business is still uncertain. Gladstones will remain closed until we are able to assess and repair all damage to the structure, ensure that the surrounding environment is free of hazardous contaminants, restore power and plumbing, and help the Pacific Coast Highway to open once again to the public.
We have many challenges in our near future but none more pressing than seeing that the staff that we and our patrons rely on receives funds to be able to keep their lives and families afloat for the next 2 months while we work hard to restore life back to the Palisades. Any and all funds raised will be distributed entirely among all of our employees and their families, at least six of whom have lost their homes.
Anything you can give helps. On behalf of our staff and our restaurant, thank you so much for your time and attention.
