Support Children's Cancer Care with Eddie PDA
Donation protected
On the 5th May 2021, our whole world was turned upside down when Eduardo, aged 6 and our best big boy, was rushed to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital after a chest X-ray found a large mass pressing on his heart and lung. In the early hours of the next morning, he was transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital where he was quickly diagnosed with T-ALL, an aggressive form of leukaemia.
We can’t explain what Eddie went through that night and every day since, and we can’t possibly begin to explain the feelings we’ve experienced on this journey so far. But we can say this... without the unparalleled medical care and incredible emotional support we received from these two hospitals, we would be broken. Instead, the prognosis is good and we are positive, reassured and hopeful. Eddie is a super hero and words can’t describe how proud we are of him.
As we take the next steps into what we know will be a battle, we are comforted by the army of NHS support we have behind us. They truly are our heroes and we want to help them help many others like ourselves.
All donations will be split 50/50 between the two hospitals. Please give whatever you can, we are so grateful for your support!
