What assistance do we need?
Over the past six years, GPCO has distributed over 13,000 backpacks to students from Pre-K to 12th grade. We need your support to continue serving our community and expanding our reach.
In 2025, we are hosting a Health Fair & Back-to-School Bash, where we plan to distribute 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies to students in need. This year, we focus on supporting the refugee community in Northside Independent School District (NISD).

- School Supplies
- Backpacks
- Bus Passes
- Gas Vouchers
- Hygiene Items
- Household Items
- Clothes (shoes, socks, underwear, etc.)
What kind of event are we organizing?
Free Health-Fair & Back-2-School event to support students and families in the upcoming 2025/2026 school year. This is an opportunity to connect community members with healthcare resources to enhance health promotion.
Here are some services we will be providing:
Free Health Screenings include Mammograms and Vaccinations, Wellness Checks (BMI, Blood, sugar, and Blood Pressure Checks), dental and eye Screenings, and HIV/AIDS Testing.
Free Backpacks with school supplies for student's Pre-K to 12th Grade.
Free Food Distribution
Free Hair Cuts
Back-to-School Immunizations
Community and healthcare resources from vendors and health providers.
