Support Grace's Fight: Treatment & Med Expenses

Donation protected
My cousin Grace is a G. She's been fighting the good fight for SEVEN years! Before she started her latest round of treatment this summer, the doctor told her she came to him behind in the 9th inning. Today, three months later, after her latest scan she wondered what inning she was in and asked him, "where am I now? In the 8th?" He told her, "No, you're in a completely new ball game!" Help my Manang beat the odds and please consider donating to keep her on top. Any amount will be appreciated and welcomed.

Grace was first diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer) in August 2016. After a long series of treatments, Grace’s tumor markers and blood work all went back to normal and was declared NED (No Evidence of Disease) or cancer-free. However, the cancer came back after a few short years. She then sought more treatments which initially helped manage the cancer but she noticed the tumors rapidly increasing in size. Because of this, she chose to stop treatments with the medical team she was with at the time.

In March 2023, Grace had a full body MRI. The scan showed that there are lesions not only in her breast and nearby lymph glands, but also in the pelvic area, lungs, and brain, making her diagnosis at Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. In Mid-June 2023, she was taken to the ER and was confined for a few days due to shortness of breath and fatigue/immobility directly caused by the cancer. She started a new treatment protocol with an Oncology team in San Diego and Los Angeles.

The new treatment has been effective based on her most recent scans. However, if she's to continue working with the same conventional and integrative medical teams, Grace will need some extra monetary support to cover what insurance doesn't pay for. Some treatments are completely out of pocket. To make matters more challenging, her partner Scott, who has been her support since day one was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in July 2023, which led to fast-tracked radiation and chemo therapy. Your support will go a long way to get Grace on her continued path of recovery. Because of you contribution and sharing of our campaign, she’ll be able to receive the treatments needed to heal and fully recover.

Gratitude & Blessings,
Rachel
