Support Grandpa Dave Harman's Fight With Cancer

Hello, Julie Nardone & Karissa Matthews (Harman) are fundraising for Dave Harman to support his fight with cancer.

On February 10, 2023 Dave Harman was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. The surgeon had to remove half of his bowel and discovered that the cancer has spread to his liver. Dave is facing a long hospital stay and an uphill battle for his life. He needs support to get through the months of treatment and recovery.

Only days prior to this staggering medical diagnosis the Consular Office in Taiwan denied Dave and his wife Mei’s marriage visa application. Dave came home from Taiwan on a painful journey without his love and a huge piece of his support system.

His daughter Karissa and his granddaughter Ava are the light of his life along with a soon to be new grandson expected in May, 2023. He treasures his time with them even more than he enjoys smacking a golf ball into the woods. At family gatherings Dave is our cruise director recruiting participants for bocce ball, volleyball, softball and golf. His infectious fun-loving spirit is always on display and hard to miss since he’s the loudest one in the group.
