Honor Bradley Bartlett's family legacy through his son Grant

Donation protected
On July 4th, my brother Bradley Bartlett was on his way to a small cabin for the long weekend with his wife Alexandra, daughter Scarlett (9), son Grant (2), and newborn daughter Violet when they were involved in a car accident in Washington state. Tragically, Bradley, Alexandra, Scarlett, and Violet all perished, but miraculously Grant came out of the accident with just a few bruises and a couple of stitches.

Brad and Alex were excited to be starting a new adventure in Richland, WA and took the opportunity to visit new places and make new memories. They cherished their weekends away with family - small camping trips, adventures to Whidbey Island Washington, and visiting both sides of the family in Missouri and Texas.

Brad and Alex made the move so that Brad could get back into being a prosecuting attorney with Benton County Washington after a short stint with a private law firm. While he could have found higher paying jobs in other areas of the law, Brad loved working on behalf of his community. He was a prosecuting attorney for the State of New Mexico and Snohomish County Washington, and also worked as an Assistant United States Attorney. I will cherish the time I went to see him in court where he was trying a DWI on behalf of the State of New Mexico. It reminded me why I had to resort to small skirmishes to get my way, because arguing to the court (mom and dad) was his skill and would end up with me in jail (timeout).

Anyone who knew Brad and Alex knew they adored their family. As Grant comes out of this, he will carry on their legacy and we will cherish the pieces of the rest of the family we see in him. The wry little smile from dad, mom's eyes, and a little bit of spunk from his sister Scarlett. We are setting up this go-fund-me to set Grant up for success - all of the funds will go to his education, both early-childhood and college.

On behalf of the family we want to thank everyone who has reached out so far, it's amazing to see the lives Brad and Alex touched along the way.
