For nearly a decade, Grateful 8 has been a source of hope and transformation for homeless women in the Bronx. What began as one act of kindness at a Montefiore coffee shop has grown into a heartfelt mission to provide essential items, encouragement, and a sense of dignity to those in need.

Through monthly visits to the Stadium Women’s Shelter, Grateful 8 delivers homemade meals, coats, hygiene products, and more. The organization also hosts uplifting events, such as makeovers and themed parties, to remind women of their worth and help them rebuild their confidence.

Many women have found their footing thanks to these efforts—some have left the shelter system, found jobs, and now give back to others in need.
