Support Great Grandmother After Tragic House Fire

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share a devastating event that has befallen our beloved Abuelita (grandmother) Lily and her family in Chile. A recent house fire has left them in a state of shock, loss, and despair. The fire, which broke out on July 23rd engulfed her home, reducing it and everything within to ashes within moments, and trapping Abuelita Lily and 2 of her adult children with her. Thankfully, everyone managed to be evacuated by fire services, but they lost everything they owned in the blink of an eye. The loss of their cherished family heirlooms, sentimental possessions, and the place they called home for years has been devastating.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide financial assistance to Abuelita Lily and her family as they face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. The funds raised will primarily go towards the following urgent needs:

Housing and Accommodation: The first priority is to secure a safe and stable living environment for Abuelita Lily. Every penny raised will help provide a safe home for her to return to.

Essential Household Items: Basic furniture, kitchenware, bedding, and other basic necessities are required to help them establish a functional household once again. Your donations will enable them to furnish their space and create a comfortable living environment.
