Support Greg Conkling's Family Through Health Tragedy

I am writing on behalf of my father, Greg Conkling. Without exaggeration, Greg holds our entire family together and it has never been more obvious than now. He has always been exceptionally healthy, wether it's working out every day, or eating healthy, or leading an active lifestyle. Which is why his health issues recently are so shocking.

14 weeks ago, he was admitted to the hospital for issues with his lungs and heart. 6 weeks ago, he was referred to and admitted into the heart failure intensive care unit of the Cleveland Clinic. To date, neither hospitals have been able to come up with a diagnosis as to what happened, but what we do know is his heart is failing and will most likely require a transplant.

For the past 14 weeks my mother, Stephanie Conkling, has been by his side at all times and helping him every step of the way, especially when the hospitals were unable to do so. She has been his rock through this hard time and has been staying in Cleveland to be with him. Neither Stephanie nor Greg have been able to work enough during this time, and we humbly ask for any help you are able to give to help pay hospital, lodging, and travel bills. I don't want to take away from the original story because it is all true. However, as of this morning, Greg has passed. He was seemingly getting better in the hospital, but due to events that have again confused all of his doctors, he took a turn for the worse early this morning on the 31st. We will still make sure that all proceeds go towards medical bills and now funeral bills as well. Along with that, we are having an autopsy done to hopefully help the hospital to never have this happen to someone again. Thank you all again for the support and the prayers. It has truly blown our whole family away with how much support we've received. In time, we will be sure to thank you all individually.
