With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Greg Stobbe, beloved father, grandfather, teacher and community member. Greg lost his battle with cancer on March 21, 2025.

Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Geena, and is survived by his three daughters Brianna, Brittany and Brooke, son-in-law Stan, grandchildren Autumn and Branson, and his beloved dog Bentley.

Greg spent half his life dedicated to Fresno Christian primarily teaching English and building the award-winning journalism program at The Feather for 30 years. Greg's impact went far beyond the walls of Fresno Christian. In April 2022, he was awarded with the distinguished CSPA Charles O’Malley Adviser of the year award.

Greg's cancer spread rapidly over the last few months, leaving his daughters in need of help financially as they navigate his medical bills and their own living expenses during this period of mourning. Any help you can spare is greatly appreciated to help ease the burden of Greg's passing.

The family is planning a joint celebration of life for Greg and Geena. Details to come.
