Support Greg's Law: Mandatory Suicide Prevention

Our nephew, Greg, committed suicide on July 29, 2024. We heard the terrible news when his co-workers found him in his apartment after conducting a wellness check when he didn't show up for work. Greg was 32, a beautiful young man inside and out, and an amazing skateboarder. Our family is devastated because Greg had every reason to live. We were not aware of his mental struggles, or we would have made sure we all told him how much we loved him. Greg killed himself with a gun to his head, a gun that he recently purchased.

We would like to create a bill that will hopefully get passed into a law that anyone who purchases a gun must attend a suicide prevention class. Please help us pass Greg's Law.

Greg's dad is a retired LAPD police officer. He and Greg's mom are really struggling because Greg did not exhibit any signs of depression or anxiety or anything to indicate he was feeling hopeless. Please help us pass Greg's Law.
