Support Grijalva Elementary's Gaga Ball Revival

My name is Sophia Vecerra and I have two students in Grijalva Elementary School. After speaking to my 5th grader's teacher and one of the school counselors, I noticed a need during their recess time. Last year they used to play a sport with their students called Gaga Ball, an exhilarating game where 12 kids step into a "Gaga Ball Pit" and play a modified game of dodgeball. When they played this game with students, they noticed more cooperation, more engagement, teamwork, and more positive peer-relationships. Mine and various students have wanted to play again this year, however, the original Gaga Ball Pit used last school year was made of wood and broke after various months of use.

I would like to ensure mine and every student at Grijalva Elementary gets an opportunity to continue participating in structured outdoor activities like Gaga Ball. With your support, you are not only helping my children, but the whole school at large.
