Support group for musicians with long-COVID

As the world starts to open back up to live music, some musicians and music workers are still dealing with health challenges related to COVID-19. Persistent COVID symptoms, known as long-COVID, include shortness of breath, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, brain fog, and other serious health issues, and can significantly affect daily function, as well as physical and psychological well-being.

With the help of UMAW (The Union of Musicians and Allied Workers), I am raising money to fund a support group specifically for musicians and music workers with long-COVID. The group will be facilitated by a professional counsellor (who is also a musician and is experienced in leading support groups), and participation fees will be on a sliding scale according to financial need.

I want to make the program accessible, so I am fundraising to cover the costs for those who are unable to pay. It costs just $400 USD per month to fund the weekly meetings, and I am hoping to quickly raise enough to cover the first 3 months of the program, and get the sessions started right away!
