Support Gumbus's Journey to a Healthy Life

Hi, my name is Victoria, and my cat’s name is Gumbus. I rescued her, and have since discovered that she has many threatening congenital issues that need treating. She is one year old and has a cleft palate, only 6 visible teeth, PPM (persistent pupillary membrane) and early signs of glaucoma. As of today she has received her first dental surgery. She needs all of her teeth that haven’t come through removed which will be at least $8,000. She will also most likely need surgery for her eyes in the future.

I rescued her when she was four months old. She was very malnourished and had Giardia for the first six months after I brought her home. It has been so heartbreaking realizing she will need so many invasive procedures done at such a young age, and coming to terms that she will most likely go blind.

Update:

She has made some great recoveries from her surgeries that she was able to receive thanks too all these generous donations. Since it is likely she will need another surgery or multiple surgeries in the future, any further donations will be saved for her future medical care
