Hadley Benson, an 8-year-old from Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, recently faced a serious medical emergency. On Tuesday evening (10/1), she began experiencing vomiting, dizziness, and confusion. Her parents, Tristen and Josh, called paramedics, but despite normal vitals, her condition worsened the next day. They rushed her to the hospital where a CT scan revealed a concerning pocket of blood on her brain. Hadley was immediately flown to Madison, WI for further testing, which confirmed the presence of AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation)—a cluster of abnormal blood vessels that had burst, causing brain bleeding and swelling.

Hadley urgently required open brain surgery to fully remove the AVM. After a seven-hour surgery, Hadley began her road to recovery, though she remains under heavy sedation and 24/7 monitoring. Despite the seriousness of the procedure, Hadley has shown incredible strength by recognizing her parents and responding to familiar faces, offering hope for the future.

While Hadley’s resilience shines through, her journey is far from over. Her family faces overwhelming medical bills, travel costs, and time away from work. We are asking for your support to help cover these expenses and allow Hadley to focus on healing.
