Support Hailey Jane as she battles Leukemia

On Tuesday, March 12th our world came crashing down on.  Our sweet  little Hailey Jane was diagnosed with Leukemia. Hailey had been complaining of leg pain at night time for the past 4 months. They didn’t think anything of it, thought it was apart of growing. Two weeks ago she had not been eating very well. Jacque took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with strep throat. Three days later, when she was done taking her antibiotics she stopped walking and screaming in pain. Jacque took her to Mercy ER on Friday and they thought it was influenza. All of her test came back negative and she was sent home.  By Tuesday she still wasn’t walking and was running high fever.  Hailey has never been sick before!! That night Jacque took her to Children’s ER. Later that night the results of her tests came back;  the doctor came in and said she had cancer.  Jacque & Nate's world stopped and we were all in shock.  They admitted Hailey right away.  She has gotten 3 blood transfusion and some chemo treatments. Thursday she had surgery for a spinal tap, bone marrow check and her chemo port placed. She made it through like a rock star.   Fortunately they were able to go home on Sunday, March 17th but Hailey's battle has just begun. 

Without health insurance they are going to struggle with bills let alone the burden of taking time off of work without being certain whether they will be paid or not.  This is where we, their community comes in.  Please find it in your heart to give whatever you can to help this family support their precious 3 year old daughter in her recovery to health.  Any little bit will help!

**So far Hailey's hosiptal stay and chemo left a bill of $35,000 which is just the 1st drop in the bucket.  They are trying to get insurance but so far have been denied.  The situation is very dire :(
