Support Hamish- Grade 4 brain tumour

Imagine being 31 years old, with a beautiful young family including a three month old baby boy, your whole life ahead of you only to find out you have an aggressive brain tumour.

I write today with a heavy heart and ask that you generously support our mate/partner/dad/son/brother/legend Hamish ‘Hammer’ Fairweather who has just been diagnosed with a grade four Glioblastoma, the most aggressive and fast growing type of brain cancer. Out of nowhere a late night seizure in his sleep was witnessed by his partner while she was up feeding their little man, MRI & CT scans revealed a 3cm tumour lodged in his left frontal lobe.

After an extensive surgery the surgeons were able to remove 90- 98% of the tumour, however the remainder is inoperable, doctors have advised life expectancy is from 6 months to 5 years. Hamish is a fighter and will do everything within his power to beat this! In saying this he will need all our help. With a young family to look after and provide for, we ask for any small amount you can spare to help them ease financial burdens. Your donations will have a profound impact on prolonging Hamish’s life with treatments, scans, flights, accomodation and any non- funded medical.

Any contribution will also support his partner Anna and their little man Miles navigate the road they have ahead of them and will be only to the personal benefit of Hamish and his family. It will also give hope to others who receive this shocking diagnosis.
