Support Hannah's Battle Against Cancer

With heavy hearts, we share the story of Hannah, my niece and the daughter of my sister, Trisha Slater. Hannah, a vibrant young woman who recently turned 18, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) just one month before her birthday.

RMS is a rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer. This diagnosis has deeply shaken Hannah and her family. However, we are determined to face this challenge with strength, hope, and courage.

Hannah is junior at Marshfield High School, where both her parents attended. She enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, and has a passion for art. Her life took a drastic turn when she received her cancer diagnosis in February, transitioning from planning her future to battling cancer overnight.

This diagnosis has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on Hannah and her family. Alongside the emotional toll, there are significant medical expenses, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgeries, and ongoing treatments. With a treatment plan spanning 42 weeks, requiring frequent trips to the Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston, it's challenging for Trisha to balance work and supporting her family.
