Support Harvest Afro Caribbean: A Journey of Resilience and Purpose
Dear friends, family, and community,
For over four and a half years, Harvest Afro Caribbean has been a proud and passionate part of the Windsor community, bringing the rich flavours of both Caribbean and African food to the heart of the town. Beyond offering incredible meals, we’ve created a space where people could gather, share stories, and celebrate culture. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our restaurant has been forced to close its doors.
Now, we find ourselves at a crossroads, and we need your help to reopen in a new location in Berkshire. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds to make that dream a reality.

Our Journey So Far:
Since opening in 2020, Harvest Afro Caribbean has quickly become a beloved part of Windsor’s culinary scene. We pride ourselves on serving home-cooked dishes from across Africa and the Caribbean, with a focus on authenticity and fresh ingredients.
As the only Black-owned independent restaurant in Windsor, we’ve worked hard to create more than just a place to eat—we’ve fostered an environment where people from all walks of life could come together to experience the vibrant cultures of Africa and the Caribbean. Beyond the dishes, we've worked hard to support the local community by partnering with the Windsor Homeless project and other charities by offering hot meals to those in need and contributing to meaningful causes.
Despite facing challenges, our commitment to sharing these cultures through food remains unwavering. Harvest has always been about more than just a restaurant; it’s about creating a space for community, connection, and celebration.

What We Need: We're asking for your support to help us raise £50,000 to get started on the next chapter of Harvest Afro Caribbean. This will cover the following costs:
• Securing a new location in Berkshire: Deposits and initial costs for our new home.
• Renovations: Updating the space to match the vibrant energy of Harvest.
• Kitchen equipment and supplies: Ensuring we can continue creating the delicious Caribbean and African dishes you've come to love.
• Staffing: Bringing back our wonderful team and creating new jobs in the community.

Why It Matters:
Harvest Afro Caribbean has always been more than a business to me—it’s a place where people can connect, learn about culture, and enjoy delicious food. My team and I have poured our hearts and soul into this restaurant, ensuring it remains a warm, welcoming environment for all. For over 4.5 years, I have never drawn a salary because I believe deeply in this mission to bring Caribbean and African cuisine to you and give back to the community.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will bring us closer to reopening and continuing to serve our community with the same passion and authenticity.
