Hi, my name is Hatem and I am from Gaza City. I had to flee my house after the IDF demanded that we evacuate northern Gaza in October 2023. I was living in a tent on the Rafah crossing, but we've been forced to evacuate again. We continue to seek a safe place to temporarily settle.

It's been a very difficult time for me and my family. I want to escape the genocide of the fierce war and enter Egypt. My dream is to get out of this miserable life. I am tired. I have lived through five of the most difficult wars in my life. Please help me fundraise in order to pay the crossing fee and escape to Egypt.

My dream is to live in a country that's not overwhelmed by war. I want to feel safe to leave my house, to make friends, to grow, and to become a better person. I want to complete my university studies and work. Those dreams cannot be realized today in Gaza. I love my country, but there's no life under occupation.

I need your support in reaching my goal and dream. The IDF will be in Rafah soon. I fear extermination. I want to leave for Egypt before the occupation enters Rafah and I need your financial and psychological support in order to get there.

The crossing fee has increased to 6,000 euros. Any extra funds I receive will go to supporting my family and go to setting up a life for myself in Egypt.
