Support Hayley's Recovery and Baby Eva's Arrival
Donation protected
Saturday June 8th my niece was in a horrific car accident when driving home from work. She is pregnant with her first baby girl Eva Josie, due in November. She was so scared for her baby girl.
The blunt force trauma was so bad that both of Hayley's knees were obliterated. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. They did many scans and tests. Baby Eva was a champ and her heart rate and everything checked out well. Hayley on the other hand had massive damage to both knees that needed immediate surgery. They have been told there will be multiple surgeries but are hopeful those can wait now until the arrival of the baby.
Hayley is wheelchair-bound and has to keep her legs in braces at about 90 degrees or has to lie down. She is allowed to sit up but must keep her legs elevated at 90 degrees for many weeks. She likely will not be allowed to return to work (as a Nurse) for many months.
Christian has been her rock through this all and will be their primary supporter for the time being. We all know that a single income in this economy is very hard to survive.
We are setting up a gift card train, donation option and asking for you to send cards of encouragement. The most useful cards for them in Cotton Valley, Louisiana are: visa, kroger, aldis, walmart, maybe even dollar general or amazon.
Anything and everything will help.
Hayley's birthday was also the day after the accident. Our sweet girl turned 23 while undergoing surgery and all the stress worrying about the baby and the frustration that her knees may never be the same. This is a long long road of a life-changing nature. Luckily she comes from a long line of super-strong women! It could have been so much worse and we are all so lucky she and baby Eva Josie survived this.
Cards and gift cards can also be mailed to:

Hayley, Christian, and the whole family appreciate all the prayers and any support you can offer as they face the coming many months of finding the new normal, welcoming their first baby girl to the world, and many more surgeries.
Sincerely,
Hayley's Aunt Lindsay
