Supporting Las Tortuguitas

Imagine living in a place where access to healthcare is not a given—where even basic medical tools or medications are out of reach. This is the daily reality for many communities in the southern rainforest of Chiapas, Mexico, and beyond. At La Tortuga Foundation, we've had the profound honor of walking alongside these communities, listening to their hearts and dreams, and working together to build healthier, stronger futures.

Our journey began in the lush southern rainforests and has since extended to the central regions and the Pacific coast. Over the years, we've witnessed firsthand the power of community and the resilience of those we serve. But our work is far from finished. During our last visit, local community members shared an inspiring vision: to establish Las Tortuguitas, local mobile clinics that would provide life-changing care and empower their own people to take charge of their health.

They asked for our help to turn this vision into reality—and we can’t do it without you.

We are raising funds to purchase critical medical equipment, including stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, glucometers, diagnostic supplies, medications, and sterilization tools. These supplies will enable Las Tortuguitas to monitor and care for individuals' health, offering hope and healing to those who need it most.

Your contribution will make a tangible difference:

• $20 can provide essential wound care supplies.

• $50 can fund diagnostic tools like glucometers and test strips.

• $100 can support sterilization supplies to ensure safe treatment practices.

• Any amount helps us bring life-saving care to these communities.

Every dollar raised will be used to purchase and distribute these supplies during our next visit in March 2025. Together, we can create lasting change and support the heart-work of community building.
