In October 2020, Hearts & Harleys entered the Orange County Choppers "Dream Chopper Contest" with the goal of creating the Captain Cow Chopper—a motorcycle dedicated to the memory of Gavin & Michelle, and a symbol for our events to promote awareness around Domestic Violence.
Out of 70,000 entrants, our campaign, buoyed by the incredible support of our community, made it to the top 16! This journey not only heightened visibility for our cause but also forged new friendships and partnerships vital to our mission.
Though we didn't clinch the contest, our vision for the Captain Cow Chopper lives on. Thanks to the dedication of Jon Miller and a team of talented volunteers—including fabricators, painters, airbrush artists, and mechanics from Jon Miller Car Care Center—the bike is on its way to becoming a reality. While these generous individuals donate their skills, we face costs for materials, driving us to seek your support.
We're asking for contributions to raise $10,000 needed to complete the chopper. Rest assured, no funds previously donated to Hearts & Harleys have been or will be used for this project. Every dollar raised beyond the goal will support Hearts & Harleys in our charitable efforts.
Join us in bringing the Captain Cow Chopper to life, helping us continue our advocacy against Domestic Violence. Thank you for your unwavering support.
