Support Heather and Andy After Tornado Loss

Heather and Andy Jacobsen’s house was hit by a tornado Thursday evening, April 17. Thankfully, they and their pets all made it safely to the basement just before it hit.

The tornado blew through their house, destroying everything in its path and strewing contents across miles of fields. The damage is extensive inside and out. Anything still inside is covered in glass and debris. Every window was blown out; part of their roof was ripped off; their entire Morton building, 3-stall garage/workshop, and attached mudroom, with much of the contents as well as all the vehicles, were a total loss.

Zoe’s bed and much of the kids’ toys, shoes, and clothing are just gone. Heather’s art studio and supplies are a total loss. Everyone lost much of what mattered to them. Clean up is extensive and rebuilding will take time.
