Support Heather: Compassionate Nurse in Need

Hi all! I hope this is ok to post here. My friend

Heather Penniman, has recently been diagnosed with MS, and only time will tell how quickly it will progress. At this time, Heather's future as a single working mother of two beautiful children, is unknown.

Being this is a new diagnosis, she must navigate doctors appointments, meeting the needs of her family without income, new costs of medications and stay mentally healthy; all while not being able to work or collect short/long term disability for an unknown amount of time.

Heather has been a nurse for 6 years. She started her career to better herself and her family. Her career started at the DeKalb County Nursing Home. She then decided that she wanted to grow as a nurse, and began a new journey at Kishwaukee Hospital. Heather is an outstanding nurse, who has ensured that all of her patients have received the best care, while being an advocate for not only the patient but the families. I make this a point, because the odds of her caring for someone we know is likely, and would like to return the favor.

Heather is a selfless human being, that would do anything for anyone. Even give you the shirt off her back. I am asking our community to help my dear friend at her time of need. Any monetary amount would be greatly appreciated to help continue support her family in this scary unknown time.
