Healing for Heather and supporting the Hyltons

Our good friend, Heather Hylton, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has metastasized to her brain. Heather has been undergoing radiation to shrink the tumors in her brain. This week, they will meet her new doctors to come up with a game plan to attack the origin aggressively.

There aren't enough positive words to describe how incredible this family is and how dear they are to so many of us! Heather is passionate, tenacious, and fierce in everything she does. Above all else, her family is her greatest love and top priority. Jason has a lot on his plate, to say the least, and is doing his best to juggle it all. Emma and Malli are busy with soccer and school and are huge supporters of their mom! As Heather says, "This is just a page in my book. This will not define me."

Heather recently shared with me that when she was a little girl and would go for walks with her mom, when they would get to a big hill, her mom would tell her, "ain't no hill for a tiny stepper."

The financial toll of this journey has been incredibly heavy. The costs continue to add up quickly between medical treatments, travel to appointments, and time away from work. As the bills grow, it becomes more and more difficult for the family to keep up with everyday expenses, let alone the mounting medical ones. Right now, they need support more than ever. Every donation, regardless of size, helps ease the burden and allows the family to focus on what matters most: healing and being together.
