Support Heidi Thomas After Alan's Passing

My name is Erick Lee, Owner of Lee's Crossroads Cafe, Member of the Arapahoe-Holbrook Board of Education, and a founder of several charities in the area.

On Nov 7th, our friend, Alan Thomas, made the transition to join the pranksters in Heaven and be free of his worldly ailments.

Alan's Wife, Heidi Thomas, is a special education teacher at the Arapahoe-Holbrook Public Schools and has been an active community member, serving those vulnerable populations and special needs students. As a servant and a community advocate, Heidi has been a pillar of service, all while caring for Alan at home when Good Sam Nursing Home closed its Arapahoe facility.

It is in that spirit of service and giving, that we, Heidi's Friends have gotten together to start this go fund me to help with miscellaneous expenses that have and will later arise from Alan's departure.

Many of you have reached out to me to ask how can we help. As friends and family, we often feel powerless on the sidelines, being only able to share in the grief. Heidi has a long road ahead and as her fiends, we can help her by putting money into this go fund me for future expenses and will be used as Heidi sees fit.

Thank you in advance for the support, prayers and the love the community has shown this person who has done so much for our community. We are excited to be able to give back as a thank you in a time of need.

This GoFundMe was created with input from Heidi's friends, and was reviewed and discussed with Heidi. Heidi gave permission for us to do this for her.
