Support Heidi's Mission to Enhance Patient Comfort

Heidi Hacking, RN, BSN, MA, MS, CPHQ has worked at Southcoast for over 35 years, working in Professional Practice and Risk Management. Heidi has also been very active serving as President of the Buzzards Bay Rowing Club, member of the North Fairhaven Improvement Association, and elected to the Fairhaven Board of Health. Along with planning events with these organizations, she was also responsible for the Activities Committee at Southcoast for many years and has always enjoyed planning and helping people.

In 2023, Heidi was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (brain tumor). Heidi has received care and treatment which included surgery, chemotherapy and radiation through Southcoast Hospital Group in coordination with Brigham/Dana Farber Cancer Center. Heidi also received inpatient rehabilitation services at Southeast Rehab at Charlton Memorial Hospital several times as part of her treatment plan.

Heidi is very thankful to all the Southcoast staff who have supported her in this journey and especially would like to give back to Southeast Rehab at Charlton Memorial Hospital. While Heidi received rehabilitation services, she saw the need for new equipment and would like to ask for your help to raise money for the purchase of over the bed patient tray tables.
