Support Heiner Family's Recovery from Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
Eleven days ago, our family experienced a life-changing catastrophe when my sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Bill Heiner's home caught fire and was completely destroyed. Besides losing their house and most of their belongings, Bill sustained severe burns over 35% of his body after re-entering the home to retrieve the family dog. While the dog escaped with no injurie Bill was not that fortunate.
Bill will be in the hospital for 2 to 4 months to recover. Once he is released, he faces several more months of aftercare. Due to the severity of his burns he will not be able to work to support the family for many more months. Though he is a veteran, unfortunately, they are a small business owner and have no health insurance to assist with the mounting medical bills.
Pam was not physically injured by the fire but did have some smoke inhalation and was treated by the paramedics. She has tried to remain strong in order to support the family and be there for Bill but it is taking its toll mentally.
Pam, Bill and family are still going to need to clean up the existing destroyed home as well as replacing the home and all of their families household belongings, appliances, furniture, clothing, and necessities.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their inquiries, support and concern. Any assistance you can provide us will be greatly appreciated.
