Support ES in Hendersonville After Hurricane Helene

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our thoughts and hearts are with the communities affected, especially our EnviroScience team in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The storm's devastation has left eight employees and their families in need of essential supplies as they navigate the aftermath of power outages, damaged homes, and severely limited access to gas, water, and food. The impact of this storm on our colleagues is profound, and their need for support is urgent. Access to everyday things we take for granted has become unimaginably challenging after this storm.

Thankfully, we are relieved to report that all our Hendersonville, NC, employees and their families are safe, though the challenges ahead are significant. Our employees’ homes endured structural damage from fallen trees, and all are struggling with limited access to critical resources such as electricity, clean water, and fuel. Connectivity remains an issue with spotty cell service, and it will take months before some of our employees’ homes are fully repaired and their lives return to normalcy.

EnviroScience staff in our other locations expressed interest in helping our Hendersonville, NC team, so the EnviroScience Corporate Responsibility Committee* started this GoFundMe to provide a way for employees to help our eight co-workers get back on their feet and move forward as they face their long, challenging road to recovery.

100% of the donations collected will be provided directly to these staff members and their families so they have access to cash, as the infrastructure for using credit cards and accessing bank accounts is not working reliably yet. Funds will help them pay their high deductibles for property insurance claims, obtain fuel, clean water, and food, establish communication with loved ones, and secure a temporary place to call home where they can have power, a hot shower and a warm meal – just to feel normal again as their homes are restored.
