In the wake of an earth-shattering catastrophe that befell Herat Province,
Afghanistan, on October 7, 2023, a resounding tale of resilience and unity
emerges. This seismic calamity left physical scars across 20 districts and etched
deep emotional wounds. The toll was devastating - 2,445 lives were extinguished,
and 2,440 souls were wounded. Yet, amidst the chaos and destruction, a beacon
of hope shines bright, powered by compassionate souls from all corners of the
globe.

Herat Province. Unbreakable Spirit:
Herat Province, known for its vibrant and unyielding communities, has always
symbolized strength. However, the earthquake, an unstoppable force of nature,
struck with relentless fury, reducing homes, infrastructure, and dreams to dust
and rubble. In the face of this immense adversity, thousands of families find
themselves in dire need of assistance to rebuild their lives.

Organizations, One Mission:
In this time of despair, two distinguished nonprofit organizations, the Afghan
Relief Alliance (ARA) and International Orphan Care (ICO), have united their
strengths with other organizations. These 20 beacons of hope are registered
501(c)(3) nonprofits with an unparalleled track record of delivering humanitarian
aid in Afghanistan. Their unwavering commitment lies in ensuring that every
dollar raised received goes directly into the relief efforts.

How We Can Forge a New Dawn:
