Support Hersh's Community: Recovering from Wildfires

Dear Family, Friends, and Kindhearted Strangers,

My name is Hersh and while me and my family along with so many others were hoping for the best during the CA wildfires, unfortunately our lives were forever changed in a matter of hours . . the picture above is my neighborhood and the heartbreak is truly gut wrenching . . . and it's very difficult to see it reduced to ashes!

The recent wildfires have had a devastating effect on our family, friends, and the community, and now we are left to deal with the emotional heartbreak and figuring out how we go forward from here. I can't express the range of emotions we as a community are experiencing right now, but with the help of family friends and kind strangers, we are starting to put one foot in front of the other and trying to figure out what we are going to do next... but I've got to tell you, it's a daily struggle for everyone affected.

The beautiful thing about our homes is that they were places where we laughed, cried, and dreamed; and fortunately that spirit will continue to push us to recover and rebuild even stronger. While my family is doing our best to deal with this tragedy, we have been offering a helping hand to friends and the community; and through donations we continue to assist others with getting back on their feet and adjust to our new normal.

We would like to continue helping our fellow neighbors and friends and could really use your help with getting my community back on it's feet as I have seen first hand what a little bit of help can do for others who are struggling during this time of need.

All donations received will be used to help get those affected get back on their feet and immediately address the following:

• Cleanup

• Temporary shelter

• Basic necessities

• Food and warm clothing

• Replacing essential belongings

• Pet supplies

• Miscellaneous Expenses

Any and all donation contributions, no matter how big or small, will make a tremendous difference to us and others getting back on our feet. But if you are unable to donate, your prayers and words of encouragement to lift our spirits during this challenging time will go a very long way.
