Support Hillery family

Hi, Myself (Corinne) and Kristine are setting up this Gofundme in support of the HIllery family to help cover any expenses that will occur during this very difficult time.

On Monday the 23rd of October Jen and Ben had received some news that no parent should ever hear. Their second oldest, Rory has been diagnosed with Leukaemia. Ben has had to stop working so he is able to be there for Rory while Jen stays home to help support the other three children, the youngest being 9 months old. As of Monday the family will be making a temporary move to Sydney so they can be closer to Rory during this difficult time.

The Hillery family are really close to myself and my son Toki as well as many other families at Artemis Early Learning. Rory was transported to Sydney via flight on Tuesday afternoon to undergo exploratory surgery and have a port placed to start his treatment.

Hearing this news has saddened everyone who is close to the family but we all will remain positive and keep them in our thoughts.

Rory is such a fun, loving, caring and active little boy who has such a big impact on people wherever he goes. He has the brightest smile that will light up any room and has built so many wonderful friendships. We will miss seeing Rory at Artemis but he will always be apart of the Artemis family.
