To all our Hit Fitters, friends and community.

Many of you have probably seen Francis working tirelessly around our Mission gym keeping it clean and maintaining the general upkeep of your workout space. He works quietly behind the scenes, keeps mostly to himself but is very friendly with anyone who chooses to speak with him. But he is an absolutely essential part of our team and does so much work above and beyond what's expected of him to keep Mission gym prim and proper. He has worked at our gym for 6 years.

On Friday Francis came off his bike and landed on his face - broke his nose and damaged one of his eye sockets. He went into SF general and was released the same day. He has humbly told me he does not want any fanfare or sympathy for his accident - but I think it'd be great for our Hit Fit community to show him some love and let him know he is appreciated and raise some funds for various expenses he will likely incur. Medical bills, bike repairs (or even a new bike - he couldn't really tell me how badly his bike was damaged -it's his only means of transport). Hit Fit will continue to pay Francis no matter what time off he needs - but let's help him out and show him some gratitude for all the hard work has done to make our gym such a clean place to train in.
