Support Homebound Seniors with Meals on Wheels

Did you know that 1 in 6 seniors in America faces the threat of hunger? That's around 6.9 million people who don't know where their next meal is coming from.

Hello! My name is Maxim Krijanovski and I'm a senior at Berkeley High School looking for ways to give back to my community. I’m raising funds for Meals on Wheels of Alameda County, a program that delivers food to elderly individuals who need it most.

I had the opportunity to volunteer as a data organizer with them and saw firsthand how crucial their work is in supporting homebound seniors; this program provides meals, companionship, and care to those who need it.

The funds will go directly to Meals on Wheels America, covering the cost of meal preparation and delivery for seniors in need. Each $60 donation provides 10 nutritious meals, effectively shortening the waitlist to accommodate the increased demand for this service.
