Support Hope Kathryn's NICU Journey

Hello , my name is Susan Puma Oliveira . The picture you are looking at is our brand new grandaughter who was born @ 37 weeks at 1:01 Halloween morning. The reason for the early birth was due to her mother (daughter in law) April puma being high risk with heart and blood pressure issues. 2 days into recovery Hope began showing signs of respiratory distress it was later discovered that her lungs were underdeveloped and she would need to be transferred to another hospital with a level 2 nicu. This has already been a rough pregnancy as April had to see 3 different doctors weekly. 1 for baby, 1 for her heart and a high risk baby Dr. April has been out of work since the beginning of the pregnancy because of the risks with her profession and Michael my son has recently started a new job. But the whole pregnancy has taken a toll on them both financially and physically. Currently they are with hope in Gainesville which is an hour and a half from home. They are staying in a hotel as they can't stay with baby. Hope has other medical things going on but the underdeveloped lungs are the major hurtle at this time I'm asking all our friends and family and even those who know the troubles they are going through to help however you can thank you all
