Support Hope's Legacy with Compassion and Care

Hello, my name is Paul, the oldest son of my mom, Hope Contreraz, who left us on October 4, 2024, at 2:25 pm. The last time I visited her was at 10:18 am. I prayed over her and told her I love her and asked God to comfort her through the end of life. The Chaplain notified me of the news at 4:00 pm. I have been with her through this whole process and almost lost her last year through suicide at the hospital. Nurses found her with a telephone cord wrapped around her neck, and she was on suicide watch. Now, Pancreatic Cancer took her this year. We laughed, talked, forgave, and I told her how she is my hero. I did my best to encourage her and keep fighting while cleaning her house by myself with no help from any siblings. She lost her brother in May of 2019, and I pray I can follow her wishes to be buried, not cremated.
