Support Housing for Hawaii's Homeless Seniors

Hope Services Hawaii is a non profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve homes, employment and benefits. The Pahoa, Hawaii Sacred Hearts Affordable Housing Project is the first affordable housing project initiated, built and maintained by Hope Services which allows low income senior access to affordable housing. We have 12 units and 13 residents who were formerly homeless or residing in shelters. We are endeavoring to create a community garden and nutritional program offering individual gardening plots and education in healthful eating and lifestyle to our residents.
