Support Howard as he lay his dear Mary Ellen to rest.

Dear friends and kind-hearted folks,

I am reaching out to you all with a heavy heart to share that on Monday, December 2nd, our dear friend Howard Butler unexpectedly lost his partner, his love of 47 years, Mary Ellen Rankin. Mary Ellen died as a result of COPD complications from a recent illness of pneumonia. Howard and Mary Ellen have lived almost all of their 47 years together in the town of Hancock. While Howard is processing and grieving the unexpected loss of his dear Mary Ellen, he can't begin to think of how he could even possibly come up with what is needed financially to cover the final costs of services provided by the funeral home.

This is an incredibly difficult time for Howard. We all want to support him in any way we can. I spoke with Howard, and after a bit of conversing, I have convinced him to let me help him during this challenging time. I'd like to organize a collection to provide him with the financial support needed to lay his dear Mary Ellen to rest. Once he agreed, he gave me the information I needed to start a GoFundMe page. This is my first time ever using this app, so please take that into consideration and help me make this fundraiser a success.
